Anime Vanguards Portals Guide

Portals should be treated as scarce route attempts. Open or join them when the team, reward goal, and evidence plan are clear.

Fast portal rule

  1. Check portal tier, host expectation, and clear consistency before entering.
  2. Confirm whether the reward improves a current unit, familiar, evolution, trade, or event route.
  3. Record reward screenshots before publishing drop or reward claims.
  4. Stop using scarce portals when the team cannot clear reliably.
Before opening a portal

Entry check

Confirm the portal tier, team role, carry damage, and whether the host expects a specific unit.

Avoid
Do not join high-pressure portals with an untested team.
When you own the portal

Host value

Use the portal when your team can clear consistently or when trusted players can help.

Avoid
Do not waste a scarce portal just to test a weak roster.
After each clear

Reward evidence

Record portal name, tier, reward, clear time, and screenshot for future table expansion.

Avoid
Do not publish drop-rate claims from a small sample.
Mode planning

Carry overlap

Use the unit database and DPS calculator before assuming a normal tier-list unit fits portal pressure.

Avoid
Do not ignore cost curve, placement limits, or required utility.
Event or update timing

Limited portal

Prioritize limited rewards when the portal may rotate out.

Avoid
Do not farm limited portals if the account cannot convert rewards into progress.
Portal-related drops

Trade risk

Check value pressure before trading new drops during the first update window.

Avoid
Do not price new rewards from hype alone.
