No. The first version uses base unit stats and player-entered values so you can calculate DPS without relying on stale upgrade tables.

What is the basic Anime Vanguards DPS formula?

For simple comparisons, DPS equals effective damage divided by SPA. Buffs, traits, multi-hit attacks, and special effects can change the real in-game result.

How the calculator works

Effective damage is damage multiplied by hits and by the combined buff and trait multipliers. DPS is effective damage divided by SPA. Special effects, placement limits, mode rules, and upgrade-specific mechanics still need in-game checking.

The base unit values come from the public VanguardsCalc unit index checked on 2026-06-08. Use the values as starting points, then overwrite the inputs with your own in-game unit screen if an update changes stats.
