Elements are mechanic tags, not decoration. They can change debuff resistance, team support, boss damage, damage reduction handling, cleanse value, or critical routes.

Start with unit role and mode. Then use the element to answer a specific problem: debuffs, boss pressure, range support, critical rate, or enemy damage reduction.
